Dominos: sign said open but doors were locked

I am a regular customer at my dominos in Kansas and it doesn't usually close until 1 am. So yes it was 12:50 am when I went to open the doors to get some pizza but I only attempted to open the door cause they're sign was lit up open and they weren't suppose to close until one. I was very sad to see that they had locked the doors before close. Where I work, we would get in trouble for locking the doors 10 minutes early. I just wasn't pleased.
